PRENASPIRE INTERNATIONAL is a family business whose origins date back to 1961, when Pierre Prénas registered a model of insulator for electric fences called “Pigtail”. PRENAS PLASTIQUE, manufacturer of extruded plastic wire items based in La Muyre in Jura (39, France), was born and will develop thanks to the ingenuity and inventiveness of his sons Jean-Claude and Dominique, and small -sons Philippe and Etienne, to make this small, typically Jura company an international player.
It was at the beginning of the 90s that Jean-Claude Prénas developed a very particular spiral product which allowed him to create a new company in St Germain-les-Arlay, PRENASPIRE.
The company took off thanks to the Channel Tunnel project.
Today, thanks to optimal quality, the spiral sheaths made in Jura from PRENASPIRE are present both on offshore oil platforms in China or the Persian Gulf, as well as on small French wine-growing machines, trucks and machinery. European construction site or even on the drilling machines of the gold mines of Tanzania.

It was necessary to protect the hoses of machines subjected to difficult conditions: shocks, crushing, friction… Jean-Claude Prénas himself designed a machine capable of producing spiral PVC hose protectors. And more than 30 years later, we remain the only true French manufacturer, facing a few competitors around the world.
We have unique know-how supported by the valuable skills of employees who are very involved in their business. This know-how makes it possible to produce the smallest sheaths (6mm) intended for the protection of optical fibers, to those of mega-structures (300mm).
